Shop review: Toasty and forward, with rounded currant and plum fruit backed by a nice weight in the palate. A long sustained finish. Definite quality for an outstanding price.
My review: Smoky and spicy with dark cherries on the nose. The mid-palate is smooth, a unique complex blend of smokiness and sweet plums. There is not a terribly strong finish.
I did not have food with this tasting.
